How Sports Fusion Technology handles personal information in MySportsApp and on mysportsapplication.com.
Effective 6 October 2026
Sports Fusion Technology (“we”, “us”) operates MySportsApp, provincial registration, Career Growth, and this website. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. It follows the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Who we are
Responsible party: Sports Fusion Technology, Unit 28C Habitat Centre @ The Mall, Somerset Mall, Somerset West, South Africa.
Privacy and support: support@sportsfusionsa.com
General: info@sportsfusionsa.com
What we collect
App accounts
When you create a MySportsApp account we store your name, email address, a secure copy of your password, and when you last signed in.
Registration records
Clubs, schools and federations may register players, coaches and officials. That record can include name, date of birth, gender, identity or passport number, photograph, contact details, club or school, region, and a registration number. Some of this is about children who play in youth age groups. Those records are created by the organisation that registers the player, not by a public listing.
Payments
If you buy a course, tournament place, airtime or data, payment is taken by Paystack. We receive confirmation of the payment (amount, reference, status, and the email or phone you used). We do not store full card numbers.
Messages you send us
Contact forms, support tickets and account-deletion requests include the details you type in.
Technical data
We keep basic technical records — such as IP address, device or browser type, and app version — so we can keep the service running and look into abuse.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account.
- To run registration, competition, courses and MySportsApp.
- To take and reconcile payments.
- To answer support requests and delete accounts when asked.
- To meet federation, tax and accounting duties.
We do not sell personal information. Player profiles on Career Growth are shown only to verified organisations, not on the open internet.
Who we share it with
- The federation, region, LFA, club or school that already manages that record.
- Payment processors (Paystack) and fulfilment partners for airtime or data (including Flash where a deal uses them).
- Hosting on Amazon Web Services in the Africa (Cape Town) region.
- Email delivery so we can send receipts, password resets and replies.
We share information if the law requires it, or to protect a person from serious harm.
Children
Youth football is part of the product. A child’s registration record is created by a club, school or parent working through that organisation. If you are a parent or guardian and you want a child’s data corrected or deleted, write to support@sportsfusionsa.com or use the account deletion page, and name the club or school.
How long we keep it
App accounts stay until you ask us to delete them. Registration records stay for the season and for as long as the federation needs a historical record of who was registered. Payment records are kept for accounting and tax. After that we delete or remove identifying detail from what we no longer need.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete an account. Use mysportsapplication.com/account-deletion or email support. We aim to finish a deletion request within 30 days. Some information must stay if the law or a federation season record requires it (for example a paid invoice or a completed match sheet).
Security
Access is limited to people who need it for the product. Passwords are stored securely. Identity numbers and similar fields are protected in the registration system. No method of sending information is perfect; we work to keep the risk low.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above.
